I have created a series of recipes using orange peel to create a bioplastic.
My aim for orange peel bioplastics is to develop my material explorations and propose new design methods in context. I aim to rethink how objects are made of, and solve product waste.
By resolving and adapting recipes to asses different qualities of bioplastics, I will be able to find new ways of working with sustainable materials. Completely biodegradable, these new materials will address issues concerning the impact design has on the environment and open contemporary craft practices to new ways of thinking about design.
